5/20/09 The things I have learned in D.A.R.E that will help me make healthy choices are. If I drink and drive I will go to jail. I would also be taking a chance of crashing or making some one else crash. Also alcohol can damage my brain.
The things that I have learned are. Drugs can really damage your body and brain. Drugs can be addicting and very dangerous to the person using it and people around that person. Drugs can make some one act different then their usual self. Smoking cigarettes can stain your teeth yellow. Cigarettes can also damage your lungs. Tobacco can make your teeth be bad and give you sores in your mouth
The skills that I have learned are. Drugs can affect people who use them and people around that person. The hardest pressure to say no to is peer pressure. alcohol can make you crash when driving. Alcohol can also make you not be able to walk straight. Cigarettes can cause lung problems. Tobacco can stain teeth yellow and cause sores in your mouth.
I pledge to never use drugs or alcohol so I can stay healthy like Deputy Thomas.

5/11/09 HAPPILY EVER AFTER Not all stories should end with a happily ever after like ones that some one dies in it. Stories that every one lives and has a good life should have a happily ever after. Not every book needs a happily ever after.
If there is a story with a man and a women living together for the rest of their lives it should get a happily ever after. If there is a story where some one dies in it it should not get a happily ever after because that would be a sad story. So I don't think every book gets a happily ever after ending.
5/6/09 I think the online journals should be graded on correct spelling and how many sentences and paragraphs there are in it. I also think they could be graded on punctuation and spacing words. The online journals should be graded on making the reader understand what it is saying.
5/5/09 If I wrote a book my character would be a person who gets beat up at school because I got beat up last year. I would make it to where he hates his life because I hated my life last year but he ends up getting friends and feels better about himself. At the end he stops getting picked on and he loves his life and that would be the end.
3/31/09 Larger Than Life Laura I think Laney is a girl who does not have much money. The way she talks about herself she does not have very nice things. Laney also sounds like a nice girl who does not act mean at all but she does not have many friends. I think Laura and Laney are going to become best friends because no one likes them. It would be perfect for them to be best friends. Laney seems like she really likes what she has even though she does not have much. That makes her a really good person because she appreciates what she has.

The main character of my book is shift a very old ape. Shift thinks he is smarter than every one. He thinks he can do every thing better than every one. Shift just thinks he is better than every one.
1/5/09 Two Goals For 2009
My simple goal for 2009 is that I get all my home work done. If I get all my home work done maybe my grades will be better. I would have more A if my work got done. I would not go to recess detention as much if I did my work. I would like doing my work and getting good grades.
My big goal is to not back talk.
If I don't get in trouble for back talking at home and at school. I back talk my step mom all the which ends up getting me in trouble. Last year in 5th grade I back talked one of my teachers and the school called my dad. If I could stop back talking maybe I would not get in trouble as much.
12/18/08 The Last Battle In my Shift and Puzzle find a yellow thing floating in the water. Shift the ape sends the donkey Puzzle in the water to get it. Puzzle did not want to go in so the ape said he would but puzzle ended up getting it. When they got the thing the found out it was a lion skin and Shift wanted to make Puzzle a winter coat out of it. So when Puzzle went on a walk Shift made a coat. When Puzzle got back he tried on the coat but then then a thunder clap which is a bad signal sent from Aslan went off telling him to take it off.
12/15/08 Doing the paper with my dad was really fun he laughed reading all of my paragraphs he thought were funny. I liked spending time on this with my dad. So I hope we do another one.
12/10/08 Greg had a bad summer and there are two reasons to that one is he had to do a swim thing all summer that his dad was making him do. The other thing is his best friend took a trip all summer so Greg had no one to play with. So these to things are important because it made his summer a drag.

12/4/08 The point of the book I had trouble getting to solla sollew is no matter where you go you will have trouble. So why not stay home where you know all your troubles. Going some where els won't git rid of your troubles it might just make them double.
